GPS on all maps - Maprika puts "you are here" sign on any map: ski resort, park or campus map: Ever looked for a ski resort or a national park on a street map and been presented with a big splotch of green? That doesn't have to happen anymore.

More than a hundred popular ski resort trail maps are already available for free download from Maprika, ready to use.

Don't see your favorite resort, park or campus map on our server? You have plenty of options. Maprika lets you to take a photograph of a map - any map - and use special GPS tags called "anchor points" to enable GPS location on this new map.

Use internet image search to find a map. You can even draw a map yourself on paper and take a picture of the drawing!

Think GPS location will not work on a map drawn not to scale? You will be surprised! Of course, it's not as easy and precise as GPS on a typical map, but adding some more anchor points always does the trick. If you see your location shown in a wrong place, point to the right one and the application will find it more accurately next time.

Share your maps with friends and community and we will grow into the largest collection of GPS-enabled maps, freely available to everyone!

And that's not all. Maprika also lets you track the locations of your friends -- on these new maps that you've created yourself or downloaded from Maprika.

Going to a place with expensive roaming or no cell phone coverage ? Maprika maps stay in your phone memory and will be available anywhere. Just remember to download them before you leave!
